Wear UV tinted sunglasses
Brimmed hats & caps to limit direct sunlight exposure
Contact lenses with UV protection
UV protection in tanning booths
DIET FOR HEALTHIER EYES:
Diet rich in fruits and green leafy vegetables- kale, broccoli, spinach etc
Balanced antioxidant supplements containing lutein
Limited intake of saturated fat & cholesterol
Limit the intake of alcohol
Stop smoking altoghether
Regular Eye Exams are essential to protect and reduce the chances of AMD
